Sometimes you just can’t help repeating yourself, so this post is for anyone who hasn’t read the most recent on the My Wizard Ads.
While most of my last decade has been spent in ezine advertising, online marketing, link building, and helping new bloggers, it’s always exciting to come across something “new.” Now I’m not making any promises, but I personally know the people developing a service I’m really looking forward to incorporating onto the MWA website.
Still hammering out the final details, then it’s testing time! So cross your fingers because this sounds extremely promising!
More soon!

How many times have you paid more than you feel you should to get information you know you must have to be successful online?
The beauty of it all is that you do not have to do this – it’s ridiculous really – when online marketing and advertising how to’s and more exist right now at paper back prices.
Trust me, I have two large computer hard drives – no make that three – stockpiled with all the “advice” and “secrets” and (supposed) “directions” every marketer and advertiser needs to know. Many, many, many of them I paid WAY too much for… rehashes of the same old same old. Sad imitations of (existing Private Label Rights (PLR)?) copy either never modified or not modified enough. In other words, extremely generic information too basic to justify its expense (if new I’d be willing to pay, but not be gouged… and I’m not new to all this).
So what do I do? I rely on staying on top of things in an economical fashion.
For instance, this weekend my Dime Sale running includes seven (7) reports, up to 350 internet usage tactics, covering: (more…)

During the past week, we’ve been super busy!
A great addition to our Whole Hog Blog family is the not-for-profit website and blog for ALS of Nevada. The entire state of Nevada coverage for ALS patients and their caregivers is provided by just three individuals (and an outstanding Board of Directors). Two people cover the state, with another fine individual up in the Reno area providing assistance to those in need suffering from Lou Gehrig’s disease.
We’d like to ask you to please visit the site, comment on the blog, and help get their traffic and alexa rankings rolling.
We’ve also added a blog to My Wizard Ads, an
ezine advertising information blog. “Diane’s” first true business online after a several year stint as a publisher herself (weird talking about myself in the third, or would that be fourth (?) person). Day in and day out I field questions for not just the new but veteran internet marketer.
Ezine advertising gives people the freedom to use other people’s lists as contact points to announce and promote the businesses and programs they join online.
Again, a visit to that new blog and your comments would be greatly appreciated, too.
Both of these new additions have do-follow linking, so your trip gains you that valued backlink in the process.
Enjoy!

Diane Scott started out as the persona of two great friends living on opposite ends of the country. Diane currently calls Las Vegas home, while Scott lives in Baltimore.
While we both have spent the last decade(+) online (and offline) making our livings by analyzing and applying search engine optimization, traditional internet marketing, and social media strategies, as of August 2009, “Scott” is no longer part of OIMS – having decided to take his energies elsewhere – with well wishes to all his new endeavors!
So Diane Scott becomes a whole person – my alter ego so to speak – where “she/I” can let loose on any subject (just about). However, my main focus continues to be the testing, evaluation, and recommendation (or not) of methods to promote your website/blog and increase website traffic.
I do enjoy writing the occasional “get paid to” post – and try to pick out the ones I find most interesting and intriguing (and yes, the ones that pay well for doing so – if you’re a blogger you can/should/could, too).
Well that about brings you up to date as of September 2009.
Be sure to visit my ezine advertising co-op, My Wizard Ads, along with the Whole Hog Blog blogging system I also own and operate. Then stop on by ImWebNiches for an A to Z search portal on all sorts of subjects.
I hope you enjoy your visit not only to Online Internet Marketing Strategies, but all the other websites and blogs, too.
All the best,
Diane Scott
(and would it be aka Theresa Cahill? Or the other way around LOL!)

I’ve known Denise Hall for years. To this day, she works with me over at My Wizard Ads.
Denise’s story is like many online. She started with nothing, built slowly, found her true calling, and is off and running. To this day, she works her buns off.
That’s also why today, while reading her current issue of Home Business On A Budget, the following struck me as something we all need to keep in mind. (more…)
