Build Your List Free Suggestions

Thursday, July 23rd, 2009

If you publish an ezine or a blog (where you are willing to add a classifieds page), joining My Wizard Ads is right up your alley.

This ezine ad co-op has (and continues to be) been in existence since 2001. The premise is you get a new subscribed (not rss-feed, a real signup) to your ezine and/or blog in exchange for giving that person a bit of ad space (6 lines, 60 characters per line).

In a typical ezine, the ad is run in either the ezine itself, a classified ad edition, and/or posted online.

But blogs, too, fit the bill (see JustLavellsBlog as an example for bloggers – scroll down the page).

The way it works is Lavell, and all publishers be they ezines or blogs, receive a new reader they add to their own mailing list in exchange for running one ad for that new subscriber (who in turn is now a permission-based potential customer for you).

The process is simple.
The guidelines are reasonable.
The ability to build your contacts invaluable!

I highly encourage you to check into this master list building – FREE – technique.

Resource Often Overlooked By Bloggers To Build Their Subscriber Lists

Friday, July 18th, 2008

Today’s resource is one that few bloggers think about when it comes to building their lists. The reason may be that not all co-ops except blogs, but My Wizard Ads is the exception to the rule.

When you have content worth sharing, and the ability to add new subscribers to your list yourself (even if the system kicks out that double opt-in request, that’s okay!), then you may be overlooking a resource specifically designed to get you new readers!

People flock to ezine advertising co-ops after joining programs or starting new websites. Most do not have their own list, or are looking to add to a list, or just need traffic. Sounds like all of us, right?

By providing a page on your blog where you display their classified for a set period of time determined by you, you also gain a new subscriber! How easy is that?!

Here’s our example of classified ads, because, of course, we belong to the My Wizard Ads co-op (okay more than belong :) ).

What we did was create an HTML page, and then use our feedburner feed to upload the information. Or you can just create a regular “PAGE” on your blog and edit and add to that. It’s really very simple.

By providing others a place on your blog – not even the main page mind you – you are doing a “community service” so to speak and increasing your mailing list.

Stop on by and read all about how to build your mailing list through the simple process of working with a great co-op!

Thanks for reading, and we hope to see you soon!
