If you publish an ezine or a blog (where you are willing to add a classifieds page), joining My Wizard Ads is right up your alley.
This ezine ad co-op has (and continues to be) been in existence since 2001. The premise is you get a new subscribed (not rss-feed, a real signup) to your ezine and/or blog in exchange for giving that person a bit of ad space (6 lines, 60 characters per line).
In a typical ezine, the ad is run in either the ezine itself, a classified ad edition, and/or posted online.
But blogs, too, fit the bill (see JustLavellsBlog as an example for bloggers – scroll down the page).
The way it works is Lavell, and all publishers be they ezines or blogs, receive a new reader they add to their own mailing list in exchange for running one ad for that new subscriber (who in turn is now a permission-based potential customer for you).
The process is simple.
The guidelines are reasonable.
The ability to build your contacts invaluable!
I highly encourage you to check into this master list building – FREE – technique.

Whenever we run across a website that can help bring business owners and freelancers together, we love calling that web site to your attention.
Today we’ll be telling you a bit about Mavenlink online.
From the “how do I make money online” standpoint, if you’re a professional with a service to offer, this web site is right up your alley. Signing up is free, and from there the sky’s the limit.
As a freelancing “maven” you’ll be able to:
o Market your services
o Find challenging and rewarding projects
o Work online efficiently (all projects are completed online)
o Get compensated (make money!) in a reliable and secure way.
As a Maven, after creating your free account, you browse opportunities and select projects you are qualified, professionally, to complete. Mavenlink even goes a step further and lets you tell them what sort of projects you have a particular talent for… how cool is that!
Businesses also create their initial account for free. Then you can go hunting for the perfect person to complete the task you need to get done.
Client benefits include:
o Accessibility to qualified candidates for your project
o Affordability
o Efficiency
o Flexibility
From the business owner’s side of the equation, Mavenlink makes it easy for you to save time and money locating the perfect freelancer for your needs. Also, it’s a great way to keep your business overhead costs down – outsourcing helps eliminate “cumbersome administrative overhead,” freeing up your staff and/or yourself to handle the tasks you need to concentrate on.

Browsing their Projects section should give both sides the opportunity to see “how much to charge” and “how much will I make.” In fact, we are totally impressed that their value-for-value exchange is very apparent using the Mavenlink system. (You’ll have to visit Mavenlink’s projects page to fully appreciate this statement, it’s much more clear cut then their competitors – we like that!)
Need to advertise your skills and make money? Mavenlink is for you!
Need to find a professional? Again, the best of both worlds can be found at Mavenlink – bringing skilled freelancing individuals and businesses together.

I’ve been so darn busy that it’s been a few days since I had the time to stop and do what I love… post something new on this blog.
However, it was worth the wait since we have several new resources you’re sure to find worthwhile, including information on how to start or get a job offline or on.
The first is Knol: A Unit of Knowledge. Not unlike a blog or wicki (or maybe just like a blog or wiki lol), Knol is a byproduct of Google where you can “share what you know and write a knol.”
With a PR of 7/10 (it’s Google’s own remember) and Alexa rank of 1 (again, it’s Google’s own), you can’t go wrong posting stuff you know and getting it listed and indexed in Knol.
The second item we’d like to share is a resource called Big Hit System, a pushbutton marketing resource run by a great guy named Steve Russell. Steve has put together the tools and resources you need to get the job done online. The best part? I’ve spoken with Steve and discovered another (gasp) online marketer willing to – yes – pick up his phone! He’s also been online long enough (since 2003) to know of what he speaks – another rare commodity and huge bonus for you! They even provide you with no obligation information on the home business right for you.
And while this next one is not new, if you’ve been hearing about the canonial tag and are still confused about whether you need to use it or not, that bolded link will take you straight to Google itself to read all about it. Best to get information like this straight from the horses’ mouth versus trying to interpret a third party’s interpretation. Website owners, article writers, and anyone with possible duplicate content on the same domain should read up on this “new” tagging system.
Last but not least, if you’re looking for a job or a change in career, head on over to this information found at the AARP website. You do not have to be of retirement age to benefit from these job suggestions. They provide
10 ideas to help you make extra money fast. Again, these ideas are for ANY age and they even suggest “going rates” for what you can charge, how to get started, and more.
Remember if you found this or any of our other posts and pages of interest, please comment. We love comments! (And it’s free marketing for you.)

With the Super Bowl taking up most of today, that’s still no reason to miss out on some potential money making ideas for yourself online.
And we’ve got a truly interesting idea for you today.
Almost nine years ago, when I was just getting into the publishing online business, a friend of mine was running (and may still be, we fell out of touch) a highly successful catalog-type business – yes from online!
At the time, I was extremely busy doing other things, although in the back of my brain I knew she was on to something.
So, lucky you! This morning I came across how you can grab yourself a Free copy of Retailers Forum Magazine.
RetailersForum is going digital. Until recently it was only available in its offline form. However, now they plan to each month – on the 1st of each month – release their current free digital version!
What you’ll find are wholesale items like:
o Jewelry
o Apparel
o Gifts
o Novelties
o and more
They are even throwing in “informative business articles.”
RetailersForum offer to you is straightforward and very simple. They are inviting new startups or established businesses who need to find merchandise to read their free magazine!
Let’s face it, with times like they are having options to make money online is without a doubt critical. This company has been around so long that they helped others back during the recession of the 80s and 90s.
RetailForums has been in business since 1981, and it’s definitely worth a little effort on your part to visit that link above (put down the nachos for just two seconds) and see what they can do for your business online and off!
Enjoy!

You’ve got to admit that blogs that give you visuals help ease the “text only” versions, and tonight I was lucky to come across a free to join website called Acobox.
Sort of along the Flickr line, Acobox gives you free signup access as either a blogger or a photographer (actually as a blogger I do see I have the ability to upload images to their site).
Then you just go hunting for interesting pictures they call “hotlinks.”
For example, you’re looking at one right now.
It was very easy to get and insert, too – don’t you just love that!
This particular image came from their Animals Gallery under Birds, which lists 316 additional images. And, of course if you opt to add yours into their system, just think of the advantages of having your images hotlinked on other peoples websites and blogs.
The only trouble I seem to be having is what I see inside the wp-admin is space between the picture and my words. Outside on the blog, the words hug tight to the image. I’ve tried playing with the horizontal alignment, but it doesn’t seem to do much of anything (sorry I’m a bit of a stickler, but I’m sure there is a workaround for this).
Oh and as the title tells you, this isn’t just for bloggers. Website owners can come to Acobox and get their images, for free, too!
So don’t be shy. Again sign up is free, and I had this image inserted in the blink of an eye.
Enjoy!
