Treat Yourself With GameTreat a Great Way to Take a Break

Saturday, March 5th, 2011

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of GameTreat for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

We work all day, and some of us well into the night, however, taking a nice GameTreat rest makes for sharper minds. And it’s just plain fun :)

What Exactly is GameTreat?

Maybe you’ve heard the suggestion that whenever possible, you should add “stickiness” to your website or blog. One way to do that is to give people something to do, beyond reading. GameTreat is a free app you can add to your site, and they give you multiple ways to bring entertainment to your visitors.

On the sidebar to the right, you’ll notice I have chosen their app for WordPress. However, they have full page code, and also code that can be embedded right into your page(s). You also have a wide variety of game categories to chose from and offer to your visitors (or just select them all and let your visitor pick).

Share Your GameTreat Scores With Friends

Another great feature is the built in your ability to post your scores and show your friends at places like Facebook and Twitter how you’re doing. In turn, they can post their scores, too! Fun all around :)

GameTreat offers a full blown gaming experience. By that I mean you get the full version of premium games. They’ve used their own “GameTanium” technology that creates “superior gameplay.” And, GameTreat is selective. They hand pick their games to make sure your visitors have the choice of the best popular games – games that will keep your visitors coming back time and time again to play.

Add Free Games to Your Wesite with GameTreat

Here’s a very short video that will show you the benefits to adding this free app and how very easy it is to install:

Grab. Embed. Engage.” A great slogan for a unique way to add stickiness to any website!

How Convenience is Headed to a Whole New Level

Saturday, July 24th, 2010

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of ampm. All opinions are 100% mine.

Let’s face it, convenience is a staple of today’s individual and/or family functioning. We take the necessary time, when time is available, to get the full grocery shopping out of the way, but don’t we always forget something? You know it and I know it. Thus, the birth of the convenience store, bless them :)

One such convenience store, ampm, however, is taking “get it quick” to a whole new level! Your local ampm now prepares hot foods, onsite, and includes a DIY, all fresh condiment bar. They stock a wide range of the pick-me-up drinks that come in so handy when you’re getting that “I’m crashing” feeling, but still have tons of tasks ahead of you before your day is done.

Coffee choices, hot beverages, and “the ampm Thirst Oasis soda fountain” (that has 24 flavors so you’re sure to find something just right for you), round out your food and drink needs – again with the convenience that’s, well a lot more convenient than a trip to the grocery store or pricey at a sit-down restaurant. And who isn’t counting pennies nowadays?

I checked out the ampm secret menu tab on Facebook, and wow! The pictured Tower of Torta is enormous and just might be large enough for several family members or friends to share (if you’re counting your calories). What caught my eye was the bacon :)

The Tower is a do-it-yourself creation, and maybe I wouldn’t have gone quite that crazy. Honestly, you’ve got to see it for yourself to believe it, so click this secret menu tab.

After taking a gander at their secret menu tab, keep July 26th, August 2nd, August 9th, August 16th, and August 30th in mind as the secret menu tabs will be updated with even more “crazy creations”!

And, for all you Facebook fans, or Facebook wannabe’s (so sign up!), on August 2nd, ampm is inviting you to create your own “secret menu concoction” and display it right on Facebook!

Anyone Else Hear That Echo?

Tuesday, March 9th, 2010

Okay, it’s not as if the internet isn’t flooded with social communities. In fact, they are coming out our ears. I know it, and you know it. Trying to stay in touch with all of them is – well let’s just say it – a nightmare.

That’s why I almost passed on the latest invitation I received, but something caught my eye.

Does the word “money” mean anything to you?

EchoLoops has an interesting premise. The email I received stated the fact that Facebook and their like are making millions, and that means we are the ones making them so popular. EchoLoops, with its growing traffic numbers, is willing to advance your rankings in the search engines (by being a part of the social circle, these things get indexed fairly easily and you can be there, too). They also mention “rebate checks” for shopping, along with combining the power of Facebook, YouTube, games, shopping, etc.

Now, I haven’t a clue where this will go since I do not (unfortunately) possess a crystal ball. I have filled out my profile in much greater detail then several other spots I thought I would haunt. I’m working on the angle that the more you say, the better things go. We shall see. In the meantime…

Signing up is free. And if you’re just a tad tired of any particular circle that’s been running you around in circles, EchoLoops just may be your answer.

Enjoy!

In these uncertain times, many people are being forced to move not just across town, but out of state – all in the pursuit of job hunting. And, while that isn’t enough of a strain, you then need to consider (perhaps sight unseen) where are you going to live?
