Recent posts (and throughout our archives), we demonstrate proof that there is money to be made online. And today’s post will be no exception to that rule. In fact, you’ll be downright excited at the prospects if you choose to keep reading! (We give you facts and figures for the truly skeptical that support what we’ve been advocating… blogging/writing your way to wealth). (more…)

One of our “tenets” in our tag line for this blog includes “hot topic news” and this most certainly fits the bill. Please read on!
I must be having withdrawal symptoms since my favorite MSNBC news shows air only Monday through Friday. So it’s digging deep into our local, “switch sides every other day” (sound familiar?) local newspaper, The Las Vegas Review Journal that grabbed my attention this morning.
Actually much of the following - other than my own two cents - comes from a section of the paper, the Las Vegas Sun (don’t ask me what their relationship is - but the one does stick in parts of the other). And, just so you know up front, the Las Vegas Sun endorses Obama.
The first tidbit I’d like to share is along the lines of “is wealth distributed properly in this country.”
Here’s a shocker for all us working “Joes and Janes” (thanks Palin) - from Sunday’s Parade Magazine:

Okay, before you actually start looking for a picture, the title is merely that… the title of the post. However, it does serve a purpose.
If you read the post prior to this, you’re already aware of the discussion about “spreading the wealth.” Since it’s Saturday, and sort of a free-for-all day to make posts, I’m pursuing this subject a tad longer.
In today’s Las Vegas Review Journal, an article about McCain stumping in Colorado is on the front page. The portion that caught my eye was this: (more…)

[This post carries the message to help you make more sales online AND is a political statement all wrapped into one. Please do hit the "read more" link!]
While I figure out a way to pull my how to make money online post together (writer’s block at the moment), it did occur to me that I do have something to say. (more…)

Just for Fun Sunday…
My father sent me this earlier in the week and I only now got around to opening and reading it. The caption above the image reads:
Halloween Is Going to Suck This Year!!!

He also wrote (on 10/3/08):
WILL SOMEONE STAND UP AND BE COUNTED?
At age 76, I was born during the Great Depression and it may well be that I will die within a depression that may be even greater. (more…)

Today doing some of my favorite type of marketing, stumbling at StumbleUpon, I came across an amazing website by a lovely woman by the name of Carol Olmstead.
Whether you want to believe it or not, your surroundings very well might be the thing holding you back from collecting “wealth,” no matter what you perceive wealth to be or mean. (more…)

Like many around the country, we’re dealing with some unemployment issues ourselves. Not directly online, but within our own family. With that in mind, and if you’re facing the battle of trying to make headway to secure a new position, upgrade a current position, or even sell your business ideas online to someone else (see below for further clarification), here’s information that may help you turn mountains into mole hills: (more…)

Yesterday I promised you a truly eye-opening and heartwarming story for this post, but first my recap (rant) of what went down last night during the Vice Presidential debate. As we gathered our pizza boxes and drinks and settled down with an atmosphere not unlike the Super Bowl, here’s my conclusions:
First off, my understanding ever since grade school (no earlier, ever since the first time your parents asked you a direct question), you answer the question. Only kids and people with something to hide dodge a direct question. Frankly, even in marketing, it’s best to say, “I do not know, but I will find out the answer for you!” then to pretend you are either answering it or worse yet saying, “I don’t want to answer that question, instead I want to talk about…”
I wasn’t expecting rocket science from Palin, (more…)

Thanks to MathTeacher’s comments in the previous post, I will stop dreaming of ways to spend all that money and get back to work LOL! Just also shows how much “we the people” would love a bit of help from our government versus the elite always getting a helping hand. The state of affairs worsens as the days pile up. While bailing out single entities (which by the way most of us ordinary people would have landed in jail for), once again the government overlooks the critical component in any scenario. We, the little people, are the backbone of any country. With no money to spend, it doesn’t really matter how many special interests they bail out does it. We end up footing a bill that no one can afford to foot.
While the Birk Economics thing sparked hope, unfortunately, the math doesn’t pan out. Even at the 700 billion dollar level, it’s still peanuts. Can’t anyone think up a way that would put everyone on equal footing, ensure their futures, and help in the here and now?!?!
Okay, coming down of the soapbox (but I think “we the people” had better start yelling and screaming louder!), on to the next bit of news for the day. (more…)

UPDATE: Sunday morning - keep in mind this guy is only talking about $85B while the government is proposing a $700B bailout!
Okay, now just as a whim a good friend of ours sent this email along. It may have started out as a joke, but it’s anything but.
This actually MAKES SENSE - a hell of a lot more sense then anything I’ve heard our government talking about doing.
See what you think - U.S. or not…?! (more…)
