This morning cruising through Social Spark, I happened to come across a new search engine that is so simple to use, yet highly effective.
Find.com Search Engine
Find.com – how easy is that to remember! – has no intentions of being the next Google. However, what they pride themselves on is enabling you to take the shortest route between two points. (more…)

One of our “tenets” in our tag line for this blog includes “hot topic news” and this most certainly fits the bill. Please read on!
I must be having withdrawal symptoms since my favorite MSNBC news shows air only Monday through Friday. So it’s digging deep into our local, “switch sides every other day” (sound familiar?) local newspaper, The Las Vegas Review Journal that grabbed my attention this morning.
Actually much of the following – other than my own two cents – comes from a section of the paper, the Las Vegas Sun (don’t ask me what their relationship is – but the one does stick in parts of the other). And, just so you know up front, the Las Vegas Sun endorses Obama.
The first tidbit I’d like to share is along the lines of “is wealth distributed properly in this country.”
Here’s a shocker for all us working “Joes and Janes” (thanks Palin) – from Sunday’s Parade Magazine:

Once again another week has come and gone without a single post made to this blog. I cannot believe it – and I’m highly disappointed in myself. I have reasons – wonderful clients and customers needing personalized attention – but not posting is having an effect on the headway we’ve made on this blog.
The obvious point is when you get traffic to anything - and in this case a blog – you must sustain that traffic or watch your Alexa ranking (some indication of the volume of traffic) rise and fall with the tides.
With Linda’s huge successes, and those of our fellow Whole Hog Bloggers, we strive to also stay on track with this whole “get traffic” thing
If you don’t post at regular intervals (and often) your traffic obviously fluctuates. The reasons for this are two-fold. (more…)

In order to properly review anything, you must first read and apply what you’ve read in order to give your review the proper perspective. My reason for opening this post in this fashion is simple… There are many times when we really and truly doubt that all the great claims to fame given in testimonials are true. Also, if a product launches and there are a ration of people offering “get this from me and I’ll give you this and this and this” it does (more often than not) make us suspect. We ask ourselves, “Did they really have the time to delve into the product before slamming it out there to their lists, visitors, etc.?” We may never know…
However, we did purchase Atomic Blogging 2. In fact, we purchased it just about a week ago on Feburary 29th. We then read the entire 140 pages – even though areas we are already familiar with – download when applicable, and applied (and are still applying) what this large volume offers.
In a nutshell, Alvin Phan has done a tremendous job covering a broad spectrum of efficiently and effectively using blogging to make money online. Even if you are not interested in the money aspect, the wealth of information on properly setting up the basics and then adding in the icing is superb.
If you are totally new to blogging, you’ll be exceptionally pleased. If you are a veteran, you’ll enjoy the benefits of this ebook by making use of either 1) applying all his strategies or the ones you are missing or 2) find bigger and better ways to grow your blog. Atomic Blogging is for everyone.
We consider ourselves fairly knowledgeable when it comes to blogs. Sure each template has its quirks, but the overall (and more specific) tools and ideas we know about and use. However, we have made many strategic changes to our format based on Alvin’s recommendations. We’ve downloaded, installed, and are applying several plug ins we were not using (and in a case or two not aware of) to enhance the strategic marketing of this blog. (If you don’t know what “plugins” are don’t worry, Alvin really does a great job covering everything you need to know.)
The meaty stuff is shown (step by step in most cases) throughout the book, but page 107 starts what Alvin writes as the:
“… real secret in the Atomic Blogging system is here in this last chapter.”
(This section runs from page 107 to page 136 so it’s not one of those “fluff” chapters.)
Suffice to say that at just $47, your purchase of Atomic Blogging 2 is sure to be a “keeper” in your online marketing arsenal.
Enjoy!

If you missed our mailing yesterday, then you won’t want to miss reading this post. Qassia is an up and coming social community that awards you with backlinks in exchange for your “wiki-like” writeups.
Read about Qassia social community here
[NOTE: Qassia does send you a "validate yourself" type email to create your account. Be sure to give a real inbox or you will have wasted your time. Validate and return to the site to continue setting up. Your DASHBOARD gives you access to all the different aspects of how to setup your Qassia and what's what on how to write.]
After signing up, you’ll want to do a few things before you start posting. Always, in any community, fill out your profile and upload a picture or your avatar. This particular social media community is not that indepth (nothing at all like Facebook or Myspace), but letting others know who you are and what you do is always critical. Make your information fun and informative, they like that
Then you use the “Add Intel” links to begin adding your tidbits to their wiki-type setup. You need to have a bit of backbone when publishing since 10 other people will read what you’ve written and “grade your work.” We note that not everyone plays fair, and while some questionable entries get okay marks, other pieces of information that would be of use to all don’t always get the proper marks. We think the members of Qassia just don’t “get it” yet, but hopefully do over time.
The great thing is reading is subjective. So don’t be disappointed (or even elated) about your marks. That’s not the point
Gaining valuable backlinks in the search engines for your tags and “reports” is the point. Quassia promises great things in the search engines, so why not be a part of it.
As with all new programs or websites, we are suspending judgment until it’s been around long enough to receive some sort of grade itself. However, if they stay on track with their goals, why not be in at the start of something new that has the potential to really boost your website, blog, etc., into the search engines.
Qassia, after joining or even if you don’t join, please take the time to tell us about your experience here on this blog.
Never pass up the chance to branding yourself!
Enjoy!
UPDATE: Our own Qassia url is already in Google! We only started yesterday…! Now to see if and/or how long before our tagged stuff appears.
