Offline Marketing Eye Catchers For All Occasions

Wednesday, June 29th, 2011

When it comes to offline marketing, we all know the more traditional route of tools to use like business cards, car magnets, etc. However, here’s a company that takes offline marketing steps further.

Make Your Offline Marketing Really Pop

Whether you are getting ready for a conference and you are in need of Trade Show Displays and/or additional visuals to call attention to yourself and your business, PostUpStands has affordable options for just about any business or individual.

Durable Offline Marketing Tools

trade show displays and vinyl bannersTake for example the use of Vinyl Banners. Ranging in price from $12 for a 2-foot by 2-foot full color outdoor vinyl banner to a mere $192 for their 8 feet by 8 feet versions, you can easily see this is well within most offline marketing budgets. Ideal for restaurants, hotel lobbies, business lobbies, and any point-of-sale situation, the sizes stated above can, of course, by customized. In fact, you can find lots of options (and designed displays) by visiting the site PopUpStand.com and viewing their design gallery.

Crisp and Clean Offline Marketing

You only get one chance (or so the saying goes) to make that first impression. Therefore, top quality displays at your events go a long way to making that first right impression for your potential customer or client or business-to-business contact.

While many play heavily to online advertising, don’t let the option to enhance your offline marketing be that missing piece of the puzzle to take your company to new heights.

What’s That Mixed Media Marketing All About?

Monday, April 25th, 2011

Today’s internet marketer has so many mixed media marketing choices to make it’s often hard to select the best direction to pursue. However one Advertising Agency that mixes the old with the new is worth investigating.

What Is Mixed Media Advertising?

Mixed media marketing is a 21st century term with a comprehensive definition. Covering well trodden paths like search engine optimization (seo), radio and TV broadcasting (commercials), advertisements in print, PPC advertising are standard and time-proven strategies for marketers of all levels.

However, the “new age” brings with it one’s ability to also incorporate:

o Mobile advertising
o Web video broadcasting
o Social media and participation in social communities
o Podcasting (hosting your own online “radio” broadcast)
o Enhanced graphic designs, and
o More impressive “creative writing” campaigns.

Mixed Media Marketing – Noun or Adjective?

Strangely enough, most of us think of any form of advertising as a noun, but mixed media marketing also can be considered an adjective.

Why? For the sole reason that it is an “innovative, creative new media” strategy. Synonyms that can be used to describe the mixed media marketing form of advertising include:

o Innovative marketing and advertising
o Multi-channel marketing
o “Assorted communications advertising,” and
o M3 – just to shorten the term up a bit (plus you’ll sound knowledgeable).

And Don’t Forget Branding

When investigating your options for mixed media advertising services designed to help you promote, don’t forget how important branding really is for yourself, your program, product or service. Look for reputable firms or agencies that understand the complete process.

No matter whether you are new or not to internet marketing, adding these new age technologies, or mixed media marketing strategies, into your promotions is a strategy few marketers should ignore.

All About Mixing the Old With the New

It goes without saying that in order to be seen on the internet, your business must be highly visible. Creating visibility takes innovative thinking, a willingness to be in the game for the long haul, and the patience, motivation and money to get the job done… properly.

That! Advertising Agency is a relative newcomer to the internet, bringing a wide range of personnel with a mixture of traditional and non-traditional methods of advertising to, and for, their clients.

Take Mike Knorr for instance. He is That’s Social Media Director and places emphasis on pay per click (PPC), search engine optimization (SEO) and web design. Most individuals and businesses would agree that all three of these areas must be aggressively targeted to ensure traffic. PPC, SEO, and particularly one’s website’s layout, are functions that, when properly executed, reap visitors. However, make even the smallest mistake and your business is in a world of hurt. There are just too many others – your competition – to get these essential tasks wrong.

Ken Korr is CEO and “Chief Idea Generator” for That!. Certified in MCT, MCP, MCSE, and the proper implementation of Google Adwords, Ken’s ideas and forward thinking lead the team.

That! Advertising Agency also has not forgotten that offline is as important, for many businesses, as online. Offline print ads and the use of television and radio spots are also their forte. In the right circumstances, for the right businesses, That! can get these types of spreading the word recognition done for you.

Sound marketing strategies are few and far between when one goes it alone online. It makes sense to investigate services that bring skill sets to the internet that you either do not have the talent to apply or the time it takes to do it yourself.

Give Me Back Control

Friday, October 15th, 2010

I don’t know about you, but one thing I’ve noticed recently is the large volume of videos out there that “make” you listen to them. Well, okay, no one can make you listen, so what I really mean is the video that starts up and has no controls.

Internet marketers think it clever that the rest of us are subject to their breathy reports on “how to make money” or “how to get unlimited traffic” or “how to… whatever” yet are rude enough to exclude those precious control buttons like “STOP,” “PAUSE,” and “FAST FORWARD.”

I’ve got one running right now, sans headphones. What really adds insult to injury (in my mind) is that they just read what comes up on the screen TO you.

Let’s face it, if mastering the English language and accompanying reading skills is beyond you (and I acknowledge that there are people who have a tough time with it), then having someone read the script is handy.

However, for the rest of us, please give us back the control to do something other than just close the window. I might need to head to the loo or answer a phone call or go to the store. If any of these happen, you can bet your booties I am not re-starting that video from scratch.

Put the controls back on guys – I’d hazard the guess that you are not creating a “waiting with baited breath audience,” but a bunch of individuals that have a life and need to get on with the basic strategies of living. Individuals, like me, irritated that we cannot even pause your marvelous video.
