eHow and Demand Studios Writing for Money

Wednesday, May 5th, 2010

Currently, in addition to everything else I do online, I am a journalist and Editor over at WorldNewsVine. And, a while back (in fact almost a year ago, how time flies!) I told you about writing how-to articles for eHow.

I do have to admit that my schedule, after doing five or six pieces, became so crazy it was very hard to get back into the step-by-step method of writing. However, there is money to be made writing for eHow and you do not need a web site or a blog to write for them. In addition, they have recently teamed up with Demand Studios.

If you’ve never heard of Demand Studios there may be a good reason. Typically it is difficult to get accepted by them. A quote from their welcome email states:

You are in good company at Demand Studios. Our writing community is a select group of writers who produce high quality articles for several brand-name websites on the Internet.

Your fellow writers average more than six years’ experience as professional writers and have been published in publications like “The New York Times,” “Rolling Stone, ” “ESPN the Magazine, ” “Runner’s World” and “Reader’s Digest.”

That’s some “resume” and great experience and exposure. I tell you this for the sheer fact that there are numerous ways to make money online. One of them is writing and building a reputation for yourself.

Consider writing for a living as you decide what direction to go or what to select online.

Diggs Kind Of Little Brother Pyrabang

Tuesday, July 28th, 2009

I just got off the phone with the CEO and Founder of Pyrabang, Christian Perrillo (see note at the very end of this post). I had a specific reason for calling (a subscription problem of my own doing), and was more than pleasantly surprised to reach him by phone.

For the observant visitor, you’ll note on the sidebar of this blog, the vertical box to Pyrabang. It “looks like” (in its own odd way) a Google adsense box (which are also there). However, that’s where the resemblance stops.

Pyrabang is more like Digg’s little brother – in my mind – especially after the conversation that I just had with Christian.

Only “similar to Digg.” Pyrabang goes well beyond that popular social media website. Pyrabang’s tagline is “the new media” and this new media serves multiple purposes: (more…)

Yes A Flipping Big Deal

Thursday, June 25th, 2009

Today’s I’m doing this in reverse. Typically I post the long one on this blog with a shorter version on the other. Today, the short post is here, with the “long” (which isn’t long) version on the other.

What am I talking about?

How would you like to learn everything you need to know about putting up anything from starter websites and/or blogs to advanced and more detailed sites and… flipping them for money!?!

Whether you’re looking to cash in multiple times with multiple “starters,” (fast and easy) or big time with more extensive web sites and/or blogs, click here to read my “longer” post (which again isn’t that long) titled Learn How To Flip Websites and Blogs For Money.

Yes, I’ve read the entire 48 page eBook, and yes it is worth the whopping $6.95 (that’s not a typo). At this price, you’d be crazy not to at least go investigate!
