Why Beat A Dead Horse?

Friday, January 22nd, 2010

First, my apologies for the title and all horse-lovers out there! I often find myself using the expression, “You can’t swing a dead cat without…” However, I am lucky to have two wonderful feline friends and I try (seriously) to make sure they are out of earshot when I make the remark LOL!

So what THIS post is about is to refer you over to one I just made on the My Wizard Ads blog. It is very pertinent for all internet marketers, yet redoing it here would be… well redundant. And, I just finished that post up and if I say so myself I did a decent job :)

Now I’m off to work on the two newest members to our Whole-Hog-Blogs Network family – Joe’s Time Life Travels and Ron’s All About Alternatives. I just love blogging, don’t you? And getting people up and running and successfully driving traffic to a well-thought-out blog is gratifying. (Starting a blog often sounds easy; too often people just give up without proper blogging coaching, mentoring, and support.)

(BTW, Joe Eisenbeil’s travel stories are not to be missed! He’s been traveling the globe for more than 60 years and his perspective is truly unique!).

Now don’t forget to read the above post over at My Wizard Ads (or you could be very sorry).

Ciao!

List Building Method Outlasts Them All

Tuesday, August 4th, 2009

What is the #1 marketing strategy that you are told time and again? It’s simple really… you need a list. Not a list of useless leads you bought somewhere, hoping they will somehow magically decide your “spam” is worth reading over their other spam. I’m talking about a list you grow yourself through your own efforts.

My latest article (opens in a new window) explains this simple, effective, time-tested and proven method for building not only initial readership, but lasting client relationships as well.

I’ve even thrown in strategies to help you achieve your goals.

Enjoy!

Build Your List Free Suggestions

Thursday, July 23rd, 2009

If you publish an ezine or a blog (where you are willing to add a classifieds page), joining My Wizard Ads is right up your alley.

This ezine ad co-op has (and continues to be) been in existence since 2001. The premise is you get a new subscribed (not rss-feed, a real signup) to your ezine and/or blog in exchange for giving that person a bit of ad space (6 lines, 60 characters per line).

In a typical ezine, the ad is run in either the ezine itself, a classified ad edition, and/or posted online.

But blogs, too, fit the bill (see JustLavellsBlog as an example for bloggers – scroll down the page).

The way it works is Lavell, and all publishers be they ezines or blogs, receive a new reader they add to their own mailing list in exchange for running one ad for that new subscriber (who in turn is now a permission-based potential customer for you).

The process is simple.
The guidelines are reasonable.
The ability to build your contacts invaluable!

I highly encourage you to check into this master list building – FREE – technique.

How to Initiate An Art Form and Build Your List At The Same Time

Sunday, June 21st, 2009

More than ten years ago, I went through all the rigmarole that most people go through when starting out online. By this I mean joining anything and everything that looked like it had potential (yet never did). The surefire way I learned to build readership, that to this day never fails, is very simple. There is a bit of background involved first, so do read on – the meaty part is coming :)
