25 Years of Data Graphics Experience Says It All

Tuesday, December 21st, 2010

Maybe you’ve started a business online that involves shipping or maybe your offline business needs a little pick me up when it comes to shipping presentation. Well, they say a picture speaks a thousand words, and your Custom Label should do the shouting for you.

Now, I’m not talking about something you cheat on and print yourself. I’m not talking cheesey. I mean a full-out representation of your company logo used in a variety of ways like:

o Nameplates
o Vinyl labels
o Overlays
o Instruction labels
o Digital printing
o and a whole lot more!

Custom Labels not only represent who you are and what your business is all about, but they also need to stand up to their task. We’ve all seen packages arrive in pristine order, while others arrive looking… well the worst for wear is putting it nicely.

However, with industrial grade materials, and the right business outsource for your needs, you’ll never have to worry about “what does it look like when it arrives?” Datagraphics would love to prove to you why, when you need custom business accessories, they are your go-to resource for everything… including, of course, Custom Labels!

When A Jpg Just Isn’t Cutting It

Sunday, April 5th, 2009

Thanks to Barbara over at GoalForTheGreen, who was kind enough to send this wonderful free resource, we’re able to call your attention to a truly marvelous (I did mention free to use) graphics conversion tool.

Have you ever been stuck with an image that just won’t do the trick? Need a spot to convert your image into something more suitable?

Well head on over to Picturesize.org.

Honestly we were astonished at the huge variety of image conversion choices. Not just your typical change a .gif to .jpg or .bmp to .jpg, etc. The list of conversion choices goes on seemingly forever. Formats, frankly, I did not even know existed!

So the next time you locate a great image, but it’s in the wrong format, head on over to Picturesize.org and change it to exactly what you need.

Again, thanks Barbara!

Easy To Use Blog and Website Image Resource

Monday, January 26th, 2009

You’ve got to admit that blogs that give you visuals help ease the “text only” versions, and tonight I was lucky to come across a free to join website called Acobox.

Blog Pictures | acobox.com Sort of along the Flickr line, Acobox gives you free signup access as either a blogger or a photographer (actually as a blogger I do see I have the ability to upload images to their site).

Then you just go hunting for interesting pictures they call “hotlinks.”

For example, you’re looking at one right now.

It was very easy to get and insert, too – don’t you just love that!

This particular image came from their Animals Gallery under Birds, which lists 316 additional images. And, of course if you opt to add yours into their system, just think of the advantages of having your images hotlinked on other peoples websites and blogs.

The only trouble I seem to be having is what I see inside the wp-admin is space between the picture and my words. Outside on the blog, the words hug tight to the image. I’ve tried playing with the horizontal alignment, but it doesn’t seem to do much of anything (sorry I’m a bit of a stickler, but I’m sure there is a workaround for this).

Oh and as the title tells you, this isn’t just for bloggers. Website owners can come to Acobox and get their images, for free, too!

So don’t be shy. Again sign up is free, and I had this image inserted in the blink of an eye.

Enjoy!

Get Paid To Draw Yep You Read That Right

Thursday, January 1st, 2009

This morning sitting in my inbox was a link to a money making program that I just had to post about… Get Paid to Draw.

Now being a stick figure person myself, at first I was thinking, “Well this won’t do me any good!” But, curious, I headed on over to the page to see what it’s all about.

A one-time fee of less than $35 might be your ticket to starting out the New Year pulling in some cash.

o  Submit your images for cash
o  Learn the ins and outs of animation & illustration
o  Sell your drawings online
o  Make money from your digital photos
o  Discover freelance opportunities and much more!

Above, I admitted I’m no artist, but I will tell you the digital photos portion caught my eye!

Here’s just a tiny bit more (an overview really) of what you’ll find by clicking here:

o A Jump Start Setup – they swear requires no experience – to begin a new career working entirely online.

o Step by Step Videos – to help you get started making “thousands on the Internet by drawing pictures.”

o Company Directory Database – where to go to get reviewed by the “best directories in the world.” Also includes submission companies you sign up with for “great free money making opportunities.”

o The Get Paid to Draw eBook – sort of self explanatory.

o Strategies – learn “all the secrets” top artists and designers use to make (what they claim) hundreds of dollars an hour and up.

o Tools and Resources – material to get your make money drawing business up and running apparently.

There’s a ton more, including lots of bonuses.

So if you ever thought of trying to pull in cash online via art, photography, and more, this system might be just what you need!

We often talk about writing for a living online, but here’s an almost no brainer and potentially your newest source of revenue for 2009!

Happy New Year!
