Can You Spell Frustration?

Saturday, November 14th, 2009

It’s hard enough nowadays without some separate entity deciding what’s worth printing and what’s not. I’m not going to mention this third party company by name, but it’s fair to say my frustration level with them is rising by the second.

Typically some bloggers do make posts for other companies in return for payment. This blog occasionally posts these types of promotions after careful consideration. I don’t just post willy nilly, it has to make some sort of sense for me to share it with you. However, when stupid “rules and regulations” get in the way, making a post invalid, it is immensely frustrating. The average advertiser wants 100 to 200 words. A quick check of Wikipedia reveals numerous facts you should be aware of: (more…)

Finding Telecommuting Jobs On Reputable Web Sites

Finding income, or sources of income, in these tough economic times is no mean feat. That’s why I’ve taken to scouting around for the best spots online (all free mine you) to give you your best shot at making cash from home.

At the moment, I’m only going to recommend a small handful because, frankly, most of these services are not what they appear to be and are a complete waste of your time (and mine). However, there is hope – and really good places to look – above and beyond the obvious (like Monster.com).

The ones I’ll be talking about off and on are not “submit your resume and hope for the best” web sites. These are boards and/or opportunities that, with the right skill set, just might land you a coveted telecommuting job (i.e., working from home for decent money).

Let’s start off with: (more…)
