Tax Savings Tool For Tough Economic Times

Monday, March 29th, 2010

This morning I received the following email – posted as I received it – from my father (remember the was-Republican, ain’t one now guy after 60+ years?). That statement isn’t to get your goat, but to show you that he’s on the mailing list to receive information directly from White House sources – not the rhetoric your “should be, but isn’t news channels” disseminate.

Anyway, as you can tell I’m a bit testy today… However, I urge you to take advantage of this information. We’ve already done our taxes (using TurboTax online which ensured we received all the advantages we could for filing 2009 taxes).

With a husband unemployed since last August 2009, and a family of four (plus two cats) to take care of – well let’s just say if this story sounds familiar to you, then you’ll want to use this tax saving’s tool referenced below: (more…)

Home Sweet Affordable Home Buyer Tax Credits

Monday, December 28th, 2009

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Coldwell Banker. All opinions are 100% mine.

If you remember, 2009 provided first time home buyers with tax incentives. The idea, of course, is to get our economy moving again, and with home prices at all-time lows, those who have been saving for that “it’s all mine!” home were (and still are) in a prime position. The government was set to help you into your first home.

2010 promises even more with the interesting news that there are 2010 Homebuyer Tax Credits available! And the best part is that these homebuyer tax credits now extend to help even more people (not just the first time buyer). Here is what’s new: (more…)

Job Projections Through 2016 A Starting Point

Tuesday, October 20th, 2009

Whether you currently hold down a job in the real world, are looking for a change, or are currently unemployed and wondering what’s looking good for potential employment in and outside of the state you live in, I’ve found a great place for you to start your hunt.

The ALMIS State Projections website – a work in progress – can help those within the United States determine their career path.

What you will find is an ability to do extensive searches, find statistics useful for plotting immediate and long-range goals. It’s a database website and the only “what is this all about” is summed up on their front page: (more…)

How To Save Even More With Dell Home Coupons

Wednesday, October 7th, 2009

Have you ever been right in the middle of a purchase, actually in the paying process, and see that little box that offers you the chance to save even more money… if you only have the appropriate promo codes?

I don’t know about you, but when I see that I do a quick search (has to be quick, I’m ordering), but finding the code can be an impossible task.

The great thing is I just stumbled across a source – should you be in the market for a personal computer or accessories and have a particular interest in the Dell computer models. You can find these same savings, promo codes, and Dell coupons yourself just by visiting that link.

While you’re there, I’d highly recommend bookmarking this website! Now the next time you’re making that online purchase, you’ll have immediate access to a wide (huge!) variety of savings for just about anything you may be about to buy. And don’t tell me that saving money isn’t a priority in these economic times. I see us all entering a whole new era where we will all be making it a top priority to spend wisely and save money every chance we get!

What better way then to give yourself a discount at the same time :)

Enjoy!
