No Smoking Here I Come!

Thursday, March 10th, 2011

cigrx mimics nicotine as a no smoking replacement for those times when you cannot smokeWhether you are for or against smoking, everyone of us runs into those no smoking signs. They are literally everywhere one goes nowadays. However, there are still smokers among us, and from a completely nonjudgmental way, they do need help when they find themselves in those no smoking zones.

No Smoking Alternatives

I confess. I am a smoker. I have stopped for periods of time, but I do not think “stopping” is the same thing as quitting. Quitting is a once-and-for-all event. Stopping merely implies a break in one’s habits. And yes, there are some remedies available for those no smoking situations. Trust me, I’ve tried them. From nicotine gum to the patch to even a truly nasty candy-type thing (yuck!). The gum messed with my teeth, the patch – heavens it was a horrible experience (I felt as if I’d been poisoned, it was that strong), and the candy thing… well again yuck comes to mind, it just was unpleasant.

So How Does One Go About Obeying the No Smoking Signs?

I recently heard of a new product on the market, so I went on my favorite hunting expedition to look for cigrx reviews, and I’m impressed! No I’m not just saying that, I truly am happy to see that there is the exact alternative I’ve been looking for that will help during my excursions outdoors (I mean out outdoors, we smoke outside even at home). As a smoker, you’ll know the times I’m talking about – the movies, the mall, in the car with your kids – all the places where a truly conscientious smoker realizes that others around you expect you to obey the no smoking rules. Two Oddly Related Subjects

As those of us in the United States roll toward turkey day tomorrow (and you’re still fortunate enough to be able to afford to provide even a meager dinner at best), here’s something to think about… It concerns the health and welfare of our country in particular, especially with the health care reform debate raging.

First do you honestly know what the term obesity means? Not just “hey fat guy!” but the percentage of your own body and its fat and whether or not the term applies (shockingly perhaps) to you or not?

Do you know the exact number at which you tip out of “being overweight” into being “obese?” If you don’t, use the last link in this post to find out. (more…)

Got The Chantix But Need To Wait

Wednesday, July 22nd, 2009

The other day – and I still think it’s a great idea – I was talking about electronic cigs. I also mentioned at the time a prescription my sister took that after six weeks, she’s been smoke free for just about a year now. I mentioned the potential side effects of Chantix – which had/have me worried.

However, I got up the nerve and today got the prescription from my doctor (had a checkup anyway). I will, though, be waiting to start the regiment. If you read the Magic 8 Ball post you’ll know that currently I’m really not in the right frame of mind. I want this to be the LAST TIME and truly quit forever (not just stop for a while).

So as soon as I start – I’ll keep you posted on the process. So far three out of four individuals have had great success (that I know or know of within my circle of friends and relatives) – so I’m hoping I’ll be in the majority. We shall see.

Will Your Online Marketing Outlast You

Saturday, July 11th, 2009

Okay, I confess I’m one of the millions out there who smoke, but as god is my witness I’d surely love to quit! Recently, my sister suggested a prescription she received from her doctor that she claims worked like a charm. Of course, she was ready in her mind to stop and stop forever.

The problem is I looked that particular drug up online and, holy cow, the potential side effects are super scary. And, the worse thing is you would not know if you were susceptible to these effects until, perhaps, it was too late (one is particularly nasty!).

However, I am determined to not just “stop smoking,” but QUIT. By the word “quit” I mean to end this habit once and for all (I do believe you cannot use the word QUIT if you have merely “stopped for a while”).

Lots of people have excuses, and I, too, have my own justifications – a huge amount of stress and the fall back to easing those moments by… yes… lighting up.

Yet we are all aware that the “smoking police” are out there. Granted, they may have my best interests (and their own) at heart, but it just irks me when other people start dedicating how a person can and cannot live their individual lives. I’m not talking about the truly great laws in place like “thou shalt not kill or maim or hurt children,” but laws that other people believe are “good for me.” What comes next? I can’t read Harry Potter or buy bread because other people believe they know better or should have a say in my life? (Sorry I’ll stop that tirade and continue onward… LOL!)

Yes, not smoking would be wonderful and I know I’m going to need more than just sheer will power (trust me I know and it’s a long and messy story). That’s when I ran across the website I Can Smoke Whenever and its product the electric cigarette.

If you’re not a smoker, you won’t appreciate this as much as the millions of the rest of us most likely will and do. Here’s the opportunity, not unlike a nicotine patch (which I had rotten luck with) or gum (it pulled just about all the fillings out of my mouth I kid you not!) to eliminate the tar build up in your lungs while slowly but surely weaning yourself off nicotine. And, since the byproduct is “a transparent vapor with no odor” that produces no carbon monoxide (hence no “second hand smoke” haters to inflame), you can actually “smoke” at your desk at work, pub, a sporting event, or even cruising your favorite mall.

Of course many are wondering is the electric cigarette legal? And the answer, as of this post, is yes – it is not regulated by the TTB.

Let’s face it, we’re all working very hard online (especially if you’re reading this and similar blogs and websites on marketing and internet promoting) – if you’re a smoker, don’t you want to be around to see all that hard work pay off?

Improving your health is never a bad thing, and investigating serious ways to quit smoking should be right up there at the top of your list.

Watch the video, read the website (it’s not large) and make an informed decision for yourself. And this time just may be the FINAL time you need to ever address this habit again.
