Buying or Selling Your Premium Website Source

Monday, October 31st, 2011

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Rouper for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

Throughout the year, I’m often asked for advice or asked if I know a source for a person to use to either buy or sell his or her website. Typically, it’s a tough world out there, and getting the word out that you have one to list – or would like to pick one up – isn’t easy. Until now.

Premium Website Marketplace Goes Live

There’s a new source in town – at least on the virtual level – to sell your website! Rouper gives you access to premium web sites (for both sellers and buyers). Be sure to also visit their main page, where you can find guidance on the buying and selling of web sites. There you will find under their Get Started section, “How to Sell a Website,” along with “How to Buy a Website” guidance.

The great part is that until November 9, 2011, by using this coupon code FX7O0NP8 to set up the sale of your web site, you pay only $1! And, to make this an even better deal (better than $1?!), Rouper also is waiving your “success fee” for that listing. Nice!

I hope the folks at Rouper don’t mind, but this testimonial caught my eye while exploring their web site, “Rouper.com is not for small websites, but if you want to sell a serious website Rouper.com is clearly the best choice.” As you can see, Rouper may not be for everyone. If you’ve made some slap it up web site, you might not make the cut. But for business owners who have reached the point where selling is an option, and that web site has a widely recognized presence online, Rouper is definitely worth investigating.

And, not to beat a dead horse (hey I don’t make up the sayings), if you are tired of affiliate programs and/or have always wanted your own premium web site but haven’t the knowledge or patience to wait out the time it takes to draw search engine attention and traffic, Rouper is a good choice for you, too!

Go grab that coupon code (remember you have until November 9th) if you are selling your web site and get listed now. For the rest… well here’s your chance. Your already existing dream web site may be waiting for you!

How to Take Your Marketing Offline and Make It Pop

Friday, October 28th, 2011

As an internet marketer, you’re sure to have noticed by now the big push to concentrate not only in the virtual world, but also stepping out into the physical world to get yourself noticed. This offline marketing approach takes many forms, and one of the most popular is by being a vendor at trade shows.

Offline Marketing Made Easy

If you’ve ever attended a trade show, you know that the use of visuals is the key. What draws your eye to a particular booth? Most likely it is the use of trade show pop ups. From trade shows to job fairs to retail stores, everywhere you look the company or person doing business is busy attracting your attention!

What’s truly great about using pop ups is the variety of choices you have – from large to modest – it’s all in the design and usage. Did you know they even make Velcro pop ups? Yes, just like back in grade school, there are displays that accept simple “stick ons” via Velcro. This way, each time you set up your booth you have the opportunity to rearrange your display, or stick – no pun intended – to the display that is pulling your best crowd.

Offline Marketing Pop Up Choices

Easy to transport, many pop up booths use a frame that also opens easily. Here are just a few features to consider when you decide to take the leap offline and visually show the world what you have to offer:

o Canopy style pop ups
o Accordion style pop ups
o Displays with internal shelving
o Ones with back lighting
o Table top variations… the list goes on and on actually.

Taking the Plunge and Meeting Your Potential Customers Face to Face

Lots of people love the internet for their marketing because it’s a faceless sort of way to try to make money. There are numerous online methods for advertising, but the wise marketer considers all options. Maybe it’s time you take the plunge and put yourself out there. Meeting people face to face can be highly effective when it comes to branding not only your program or product, but yourself, too.

Creators Asking for Jersey City Project Feedback

Tuesday, October 25th, 2011

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Untitled Jersey City Project for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

I was asked to watch a short segment for a potential new show called Untitled Jersey City Project. It’s just a quick 2 minute or so preview, and frankly I have mixed feelings. When a person is asked for thoughts about a storyline or the concept or even input on the chosen actors – all via watching such a small portion – it’s a tough call.

Jersey City Short Out Take

Here’s just a portion of Episode 1:

My feeling after watching was, in all honesty, one of “I don’t know.” With very little dialog to go by, it’s hard to tell if the writers will be or can be responsible for taking this out of the mundane into a real “edge of your seat” show. There are tons of similar, existing premises already on television. It all comes down to not just the actors (he’s cute), but what comes out of their mouths. So far it has a CSI, NCIS, Law & Order feel that is all too common on television today. Plot is everything. Twists and turns (and no repeating bad guy) hold my attention the best. Each show needs to be able to stand on its own feet. This way if a person comes to watch halfway through a season, the whole story doesn’t hinge on having watched from the very beginning (those are the ones I personally like best).

Untitled Jersey City Summary

It’s assumed by the viewer that “across the Hudson from New York City” Jersey has managed to survive some catastrophe (we don’t know what). However, the show’s concept is the rebuilding of a bright, shiny attempt to create wonder out of chaos. Granted, it is very difficult to give potential viewers much insight when the segment is so short.

However, you’ll notice that toward the end the person who appears to be a main character emerges from his car, and somehow (magically) the woman he was sleeping with is with him. Yet in the first portion, she’s definitely still in bed while the main actor is grabbing his phone and heading out of the house (on the run because of a phone message). Stuff like this bothers me. I pay attention. There is no way the woman could have made it to the bathroom let alone the closet before this guy was speeding his way down to his construction site. I believe “eye candy” was the reason for sticking her into a shot where she does not really belong.

Also, the main actor was speeding and the cops following. So, in my mind, when he’s surrounded and they pull their guns on him it does not make sense. He just arrived. The cops soon follow. There is something off about the timing and needs to be revisited by the writers.

Your Jersey City Thoughts?

The creators have developed 8 “short-form episodes” and what I do give them full credit for is asking for feedback and input from their potential viewing audience. No show that I’m aware of does this – you just typically turn on the television and whatever is there is there.

So my question is:  What do you think? Should the “Untitled Jersey City” crew continue their task of creating a real production or not? They really do want your feedback, and you can leave your feedback quite easily just by commenting to this post. Please do!

That’s Right How to Get Professional PPC Help

Saturday, October 22nd, 2011

In the world of paid advertising, and the wide spread strategy of using pay per click (PPC) by many, having a knowledgeable team of experts on your side is going to increase your ROI.

Pay Per Click is not as simple to master as so many out there would like you to believe. In fact, done incorrectly you can easily spend a small fortune with the end result being absolutely nothing. Empty wallet, zero sales or sign ups.

What you do need is a team of experts from a reputable Advertising Agency. People who truly know how to pinpoint your target audience through advanced research. Experts who truly “get” the point of keywords and keyword phrases best suited for your needs.

Without proper guidance, and I’ve been told this by an expert, you can quickly and easily go through hundreds of dollars without a single sale or conversion. In fact, I was told if you don’t have at least $500 to lose, stay away from PPC.

But again, there’s the flip side to everything, and that flip side for you is hiring the right advertising agency to help you get the most bang for your paid advertising buck.

Don’t make the mistake of doing this yourself. Don’t believe “anyone can master pay per click.” Some of you may be able to, but most won’t. Instead spend your money wisely, and let the experts help you achieve your goals.

As stated on the web site included in this post:

The World Leader in PPC Management – Often Copied, Never Equaled

And, of course, by choosing the right advertising agency, you get much more than just expert, guided assistance with pay per click. The right advertising agency has numerous plans and services for most budgets.

That’s an advertising agency worth investigating!
