Are You A Real News Hound?
I’d like to call your attention to a news website (the banner has been in my sidebar for a few months now) that anyone who fancies him or herself to be a TRUE news fanatic should explore. The WorldNewsVine is strong and growing even more so minute by minute.
The WNV is (for now) actively seeking bloggers who are:
o Already familiar with WordPress in an MU setting
o Competent writers who will properly classify and tag their reporting, and
o Ready and able to actively participate on an already-recognized, yet young-enough-to-grow-with, news website.
Obviously they are seeking individuals who “report the news as they see it.” Regionally, locally, throughout the globe. Above all, professional. Now by professional, I mean:
o You need to know the difference between fact and fiction
o Be willing to research what you write, and
o If you’re so inclined, receive true Press Credentials – an honest to goodness press kit.
With full press access, you’ll be able to report on local meetings, State or Province happenings, get interviews, etc.
So if your thing is, or has always been, to be a REAL reporter, check into joining the team at WorldNewsVine.

Hi Diane,
We are seeking both international and national professional/apprentice journalists as well as, citizen journalists to come on-board and share their news stories, thoughts and opinions.
Even for those not interested in becoming a journalist/writers, are welcome.
We are a “Free Speech News Site” and provide a wide range of news, and editorials for all to enjoy and comment on.

Sounds very interesting to me. I know that with a press pass you can get into some blogging conferences for free. I’m going to look into this.
.-= ConnieFoggles´s last blog ..No Better Deal Contest =-.
This is a tremendous opportunity for journalists and budding journalists. In fact, I got the word from on high today that Google News is picking WorldNewVine up! Serious business, looking for serious people (who can follow simple instructions LOL!).
Hmm. Google news also picked up Examiner but it doesn’t get one a press pass. Just saying…
@psyche – It’s WorldNewsVine that has the press kits not Google. It’s the real deal, in fact today they had the breaking story of the day ahead of all of them… MSNBC, CNN, Fox, etc., etc. It has to do with the Senate “Unemployment” bill and what’s NOT inside it.
I think it is always good to have a fresh squeeze of news in the morning. But I guess nothing too gruesome would be good.
