If ever there is a Gold Medal for blogging, Linda Rembowski of Forcedgreen would win hands down!

The August 16th edition of the WebProNews includes a quick (I don’t know what to call it… article? post? tidbit?) of information from their staff writer, David A. Utter. He writes:

The popularity contest of blogging and gaining links and traffic doesn’t happen overnight. It takes time and work.

And, of course, he’s not far off the mark. However, today we’ve got the great pleasure of taking our Sunday Fun Day to tell you about the huge success of one of our fellow Whole Hog Bloggers, Linda Rembowski of Forcedgreen.

Back at the tail end of March (2008), and after helping Linda with various opportunities online that she just didn’t really have a passion for, Linda started her blog using our complete blogging system. She was, and continues to be, the “first leg” in this growing blogger’s network.

Linda took to blogging amazing well! Her passion for living green has won her the admiration and repeat visits from a broad spectrum of readers, including the citizens of Greensburg, Kansas (the folks rebuilding the first entirely green town after a devastating tornado).

A check last night of Alexa ranks and Google PRs had me rushing to communicate with Linda faster than Michael Phelps hits the finish line in the pool

Drum roll please….

Forcedgreen has achieved a remarkable feat! Starting at 6.9 million in Alexa, in just under five months, her blog has a current Alexa rank of 94,866 AND Google has awarded her a PR3!

To add icing to this marvelous cake, her total visitor count (not hits, visitors) for July was over 28,000!

She’s such a wonderful person, and she always makes sure she gives her participation in the Whole Hog Blogs system and network high marks for her amazing success! (And she works tirelessly - nothing comes without work, keep that in mind!).

Here’s another quote from Utter’s “article” or newsletter snippet that truly reflects how to achieve success blogging (with Linda as living proof):

Networking in person, commenting intelligently on their posts online, and conducting an interesting interview of the desired popular blogger [Linda's been interviewed herself twice] offer chances at longer term relationships that could lead to inbound linking and the followers who click them.

High five to Linda for her continued successes! And, a final note of Utter’s which pieced together reads:

Being ignored isn’t any fun. Neither is hard work, but without the latter, it’s difficult to resolve the former without some ultra-rare bit of serendipity happening for your blog. We think it’s better to depend on the hard work than a fleeting bit of good fortune.

We’ll add to Utter’s statement that to have fun while you work makes blogging truly unique and powerful! Many people slog their way around the network wondering why nothing really ever happens for them. Finding your niche and building your business is where it’s at! Just ask Linda!
