I recently started a carnival there. A couple weeks back actually. Every weekend I now post an article on my blog in a post that is niche specific, containing links to their articles (Submissions) from everyone who submits an article to me. Its pretty easy actually, as the software emails you the html to use and does all the anchor text and link love for you. You just cut and paste and write anything else you want on each article. (Brief summary etc)The number of submissions too I was surprised by. Id say Ive had close to 30 in a 2 week span. I wasnt expecting more than a handful to be honest.

BlogMeTheMoneys last blog post..<a href="http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r/Blogmethemoney/~3/298132350/adsense-ready-blogger-templates-for.html" rel="nofollow">Adsense Ready Blogger Templates For Monetization?</a>

@waterrose I stand corrected, but I also agree with you, my idea is better LOL!

Here's one of their samples:
http://www.silflayhraka.com/wp/2002/09/25/carnival-of-the-vanities-1/

Though I thought I read on the site that one person becomes the central receiving area for all articles which are read and linked to by that person (sounds like a big job!).

But I think telling it "story fashion" might be a whole lot better though obviously a ton more work for the putter-togetherer :)

Well I did participate in one, only one time, and it didn't seem to be done the way your wrote about. Basically everyone did their own thing and were cross referenced on the host site. Doing it this way...I just didn't get it. But the way you explain that it should be done makes more sense.Hmmmm
