We've been scratching our heads over the IE thing but it's some weird bug (we think) having to do with patch levels in IE, XP, and probably the space-time fabric under Bill's house. But since a huge majority of our readers are on Mozilla it's not been too big a deal. I'm a bit concerned that you found the page confusing - at least beyond the necessary part when you're dealing with a background process that makes the Digg API calls in a separate thread.
